Pergolas, Pool Cages & Canopies
Steel and aluminum pergolas, screen enclosures, canopies, and awnings — engineered for Florida wind loads, salt air, and sun exposure. Built to elevate outdoor living without compromising on durability.
Built for Shade.
Engineered for
Florida Weather.
Florida asks a lot of outdoor structures: wind-driven rain, daily sun cycles, salt air in coastal counties, and hurricane-grade wind events. Cheap kits and un-engineered bolt-togethers don't survive. We fabricate pergolas, pool cages, and shade structures from steel or aluminum, designed to your architectural intent, engineered for your wind zone, and installed by our own crew.
For pool cages we use marine-grade aluminum with stainless hardware. For architectural pergolas we use steel tube with proper powder coat. Every structure gets the fasteners and connections it needs for your specific site — not generic assumptions.

From Concept to Shade
Site Visit & Design
We visit, measure, discuss style and materials, and sketch options. Address wind zone, pool coordination, attachment points.
Engineering & Permit
Engineered drawings with connection details, wind-load calcs, and foundation requirements. Suitable for permit submittal.
Fabrication
Shop-fabrication of posts, beams, rafters, and hardware. Powder coat or anodized finish applied before delivery.
Installation
On-site assembly, anchoring, screen install (pool cages), and final inspection. We stay until the inspector signs off.
Engineered.
Not Improvised.
The pool cage down the street that came apart in the last storm wasn't engineered for it. We design to your actual wind zone and use hardware that doesn't fail.
- 01
Wind-zone engineered
Every structure designed to your specific FBC wind zone and exposure category. Connection details stamped when required.
- 02
Right material for the job
Marine-grade aluminum for screen enclosures and coastal sites. Powder-coated steel for architectural pergolas. No corners cut on materials.
- 03
Proper fasteners
Stainless hardware, engineered anchors, and correct spacing. The bolts are what fail first on bad installs — we don't cut there.

Storm damage specialists
We rebuild after hurricanes with honest assessments: what's salvageable, what isn't, and what should be upgraded while you're already there.
Common Questions
Yes. Every pergola and pool cage is engineered to meet Florida Building Code wind-load requirements for your specific wind zone and exposure category. We provide engineered connection details for permitting.
Yes. Storm damage repairs, bent frame replacement, corrosion repair, and screen re-screening. We handle everything from a single bent brace to full cage rebuilds after hurricane damage.
Depends on the look and site. Aluminum is corrosion-resistant, lighter, and typical for pool cage style enclosures. Steel offers heavier profiles for architectural pergolas and longer unsupported spans. We recommend based on design intent and location.
We work with your GC or permit expeditor, and can coordinate permitting when needed. Most pool cages and pergolas require permits in Florida — we provide engineered drawings suitable for submittal.
Standard 18x14 fiberglass, no-see-um (20x20) for bugs, pet-resistant screen for dogs and cats, and super-screen (heavy-duty) for longevity. We recommend based on your pets, bug pressure, and budget.
